Privacy Statement for Woolyungah Indigenous Centre Student Assessment
In using the Student Assessment application, you will be asked to provide your UOW student number and to answer a number of questions relating to your personal circumstances. Submitting a Student Assessment in the application will generate a report containing the information you input into the Student Assessment and will be collected and held by UOW. Your personal information will be held, collected and used in accordance with UOW’s Privacy Policy, which is publicly available at https://www.uow.edu.au/about/policy/UOW038289.html.
UOW staff at Woolyungah Indigenous Centre (WIC) will use your UOW student number to match the answers in the report to your personal information already held by UOW. Based on the answers in your report, UOW staff may use your personal information to contact you directly in order to offer further information regarding assistance and support that may be available to you. If your answers indicate that there is an imminent and serious risk to your life or health, or the life or health of any other person, UOW may disclose your personal information to external agencies.
Please be aware that by continuing to the Student Assessment, you will be redirected to an application that is hosted by Nucleo Pty Ltd (ACN 132 411 262, 107) of Faulkner Street, Armidale NSW 2350 (Nucleo). Nucleo is hosting the Student Assessment application on behalf of UOW. Nucleo will not access or retain any information you input into the Student Assessment application but will capture metadata relating to logged internet traffic to the server for the purposes of maintaining the application and repairing errors. The provision of information in the form of this Student Assessment is voluntary but may be required in circumstances where you are seeking to make an Alternative Admissions Application to UOW via the WIC.
